Natasha Corrett - Founder

I have been working in events since 2005 working for several of the top events companies in Europe. I set up Eight Events in 2007 and have been lucky enough to organise and work on some of the biggest private, charity and high profile parties in the UK. After a life changing trip to India in 2009 I decided that I wanted to combine my love for a holistic lifestyle and energy healing with my skills as an event organiser and started Ganesh retreats. I feel very passionate that everyone should have the support and knowledge to help them integrate a holistic lifestyle into everyday life.

I received my Reiki masters in India with my teacher, Grand Master Usha -ji and completed a Crystal healing course in Thailand. I love working with these two powerful energies to help support peoples healing journey. I feel blessed to have found my path in Life and am truly excited about living out my journey as a energy healer and holistic lifestyle teacher.

Hermione

Hermione Bigland - Massage

I fell in love with the benefits of massage from an early age and after a period of working in the art world realised that my passion lay with helping people through body work. I have been practising for three years and have gained a large following not only in companies where I deliver stress relieving massages but also in my West London therapy rooms. I specialises in blending traditional relaxation techniques with more thorough deep tissue manipulation in order to relieve both physical and emotional tension. I strongly believe that each person is unique and therefore so is every massage. I tailor each treatment to the individual, responding to what they hope to achieve, both physically and mentally, in their wider lifestyle.

Massage

Anthony Chopping - Massage

Ever since I can remember I've been naturally drawn to massage. In 1997 I attended a Shiatsu introductory day, this Japanese healing art immediately resonated with me. I then spent the next three years completing a diploma course with the British School of Shiatsu, I have been practicing full time ever since.

I enjoy travelling combined with learning new skills, from a one to one study with a master in Thai massage in Chiang Mai to learning Chi Kung in India. Beyond my human experience I spent two years studying Equine Shiatsu.  In recent years I have been living between the UK and Chamonix where I have been able to continue my pursuit and love of skiing and to share my skills with a much wider spectrum of individuals.

Each Shiatsu treatment is tailored specifically to the individual, one can expect to find the overall experience deeply relaxing.

Durga Devi

Durga Devi - Yoga

I am an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher from New York. I have been practicing yoga since 1994 and have taught at the New York Jivamukti Yoga Center for over 3 years before moving to London to help launch the first Jivamukti Yoga Center in the UK, which now has been open for over 4 years. I have completed my Jivamukti Yoga Advanced Certification with Sharon Gannon and David Life, founders of Jivamukti Yoga, and I have also completed my teacher training at the Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in New York City.

I have a dance background and was trained as a competitive gymnast. Before my full time commitment as a yoga teacher, I studied fashion design at the Fashion Institiute of Technology. My artistic talents also include singing and songwriting. I spent 10 years performing as a lead singer for several bands, most recently Lady Luck, which released an EP and a full length album and toured Europe and the US.

Vicki

Vicki Edgson - Nutritionist

I have held a strong passion for food all my life, and am seldom seen without my nose in cookbook! It seemed almost inevitable that I would convert this passion into my main motivational tool in working within the nutrition and naturopathic fields, both of which I have now been practising for over 14 years. I aim to delve into the very cause of an individual's unwellness, thereby ensuring that the remedy is permanent, rather than a band-aid. With over 5,000 patients and clients having passed through my clinic rooms, I have experience in a wide range of hormonal imbalances, eating issues, weight management strategies (too small as well as too large), skin problems, pre-conceptual care, and heart health, as well as supporting cancer patients throughout a wide range of treatment therapies. I truly believe that health begins, and ends, in the digestive tract, and that detoxing, fasting and cleansing are all important strategies for long-term health and vitality.

Lilly

Lily Fraser - Massage

I am a fully qualified Holistic and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage therapist with further training in Pregnancy Massage, Body Reading and Ilahinoor healing. I live and practice my unique style of massage between Devon and London.

My retreat massages are specifically designed to help deepen your yoga practice and relax the body with an emphasis on helping detoxify you physically, mentally and energetically. My love of yoga, treating the body as a temple and belief in the medium of human touch and it's power to heal has led me to develop my practice in to what it has become.

Miranda

Miranda Gates-Fleming - Yoga

I have been teaching yoga in London for the last 4 years. I teach a variety of styles, including yoga for pregnancy and mum & baby. I count myself as blessed that I can truly say I love my job! No two classes I teach are exactly the same, just as no 2 people are the same, I believe that a yoga class should be directed by the needs of the individuals within the class, rather than the teacher deciding a format that must be stuck to. I hope you'll find my classes creative and explorative as well as restorative and grounding.

Reflexology

Andrea Hurst - Reflexology

My work in the healing arts began with a foundation in bereavement support and counselling whilst in my late teens. It was several years later that I felt drawn to the ancient Egyptian healing art of reflexology and so began my studies in preventative medicine.

I have now been practising for 15 years and for the greater part of my work I have been based in Mayfair, London. I have also worked in Europe, the USA and the Middle East. I have successfully introduced alternative treatment lengths which have proved extremely popular, as these can provide greater flexibility and can be incorporated into most peoples schedules. My work is all about helping people to understand more about themselves as a whole and showing them that often incorporating just a few simple steps can be the most effective way to good health. I also aim for my clients to experience the far reaching therapeutic benefits of reflexology. It is a powerful holistic treatment and will bring back balance on every level. The best way to describe my treatments would be as the M.O.T for the human being, the treatment gives all of the bodies systems a fine tuning and will encourage the body to work more efficiently.

To summarise my treatments in three words would be; Relax, Restore and Revitalise.

Jesse

Jesse Monroe - Chef

I have always had a huge love for food having baked through my childhood with my Grandma in Yorkshire and su-chefed for my mother's organic vegetarian dinner parties. In February 2008 using my family's talent and drawing from Thai, Brazilian and Mediterranean cuisines I launched 101 Supper Club, an organic seasonal private catering company. Cooking for some of London's most exclusive private events and traveling abroad with clients to chef in their holiday homes. Also I re-lauched an organic restaurant in London and pursued my principles of healthy, organic food wherever I go. In August 2008 I teamed up with top nutrionist Vicki Edgson to create monthly supper clubs, where we demonstrated various colourful, nutritious and delicious recipes with a focus on how to integrate healthy home-cooking easily into busy lifestyles.

Paulo Moreira - Yoga

I am originally from Lisbon, but first came to the UK to study for my MA at the Edinburgh College of Art before moving to London and working as a Designer/Architect. I was introduced to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga by John Scott and, though not naturally flexible, I found myself quickly benefiting from the physical and mental therapy of a regular dedicated practice. I went on to complete the Sivananda TTC in India in 2001 and John Scott's Ashtanga TTC 2004-05 in Cornwall, UK. Since then I have had the opportunity to practise in Mysore ( Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute) and to assist John and Lucy Scott in the UK and to share my own insights at Stillpoint, their Ashtanga Yoga Centre in New Zealand. I enjoy the simplicity of the breath-synchronised movement of the vinyasa system and sharing ways to stay connected to that integrity with strength and kindness to the body. I now continue my studies with Hamish Hendry at Astanga Yoga London.

Hayley North - Chef and Yoga

I trained in dance at The Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre, The Urdang Academy of Performing Arts and the London Contemporary Dance School. I completed a 3yr Yoga Teacher Training at Natural Bodies in Brighton with Gary Carter and many of the teachers who worked with Vanda Scaravelli. I have been teaching consistently since 2002, both in the UK and internationally.  My classes are a deep yet playful exploration, via the physical body, into yoga as a state of being.  The emphasis is on creativity and stillness in movement. My work is inspired by all dance forms, Yoga, Tai Chi & Qi Gung, Martial Arts, Gyrotonics, Laurie Booth's ‘Primorphic Technique‘, Feldenkrais, Contact Improviation, Continuum Movement, Body Mind Centering, Shammanic movement practices, Krishnamurti....nature, life, living and love!

My love of food and nutrition is an integral part of my being and cooking an expression of creativity. I love to feed people, I have to feed people! I have over 20 years experience in the catering industry from waitress to manager to small business owner. In harmony with the integration of yoga into life, I am particularly interested in providing chefs and menu planning for retreats and workshops both in the UK and worldwide.

Gustav Roth - Yoga

I started practicing yoga intensely when living in the soul opening city of Rio de Janeiro some 6 years ago. I have practiced with many teachers with different styles, but mostly immersed myself in classical hatha yoga and vinyasa practice. I got my teacher qualification through the Sivananda organisation, and have also studied more in depth with teachers like Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Kristy Mc Nally. My classes are gentle and opening but in the same time challenging in relation to personal needs and abilities.

Yvette Le Brasse - Chef

Thankfully I was born into a family with an absolute love for good food passed on from one generation to the next.  Our kitchen was definitely the heart of our home and our dining room a big belly - a home to many feasts!   Both my parents are fantastic cooks and food was a focal point in our lives - all our vegetables were home grown and I would have to help my parents daily to pick and prepare the organic vegetables for our evening meal.  I was taught by both my parents how to cook at a very young age - I was seven years old when my Dad taught me how to cook a Mauritian Curry!  I collected recipes and started my own recipe folder at the age of eight - with a background like this, it seemed so natural for me to become a chef.  I have had a privileged career cooking professionally for over 20 years with lots of travelling around the world.  I believe good health starts with good healthy food and for the past 10 years I have gone back to my childhood roots and concentrated on cooking the way I was brought up - cooking organically and according to the season.  I have a particular interest in special diets - free-from - gluten, sugar, dairy, etc.  I started my own company, 'craYve's' in 2000, baking yummy treats which are free-from.  To me, food is life and I love it!
